2015 Honor Flights Schedule Just In

Legionnaires,

Jennifer Jamison from the Dulles Honor Flight’s Dream Team just posted the schedule for the 2015 Honor Flights yesterday afternoon, see attached for planning purposes.  Updates will begin as soon as new information is received.

OK, here we go again!!!  Meeting & greeting those wonderful World War II veterans from all over the nation through the Honor Flight program is one of the major highlights of the year and the great part is that it lasts about 6 months!  In addition, some of the flights have a mix of WWII, Korean War & Vietnam War veterans aboard.  If you have never done this before you now have an opportunity to do so and meet a lot of outstanding veterans from the Greatest Generation & beyond.  It is one of the most moving experiences ever!  Remember, they are not strangers, they are our fellow veterans!  They are among the finest men & women to ever walk the face of the earth.  They are America’s “green giants” & we stand on their shoulders……

See you all at Dulles Airport as often as possible between April and late October!  I still keep hearing rumors about an Honor Flight out of Chicago arriving on 22 March, but no confirmation.  Hopefully, we will receive info on it, if correct.

This schedule may be modified as new flights are added and a few canceled.  You can always request receiving updated schedules directly from Jennifer.

Lastly, a very special thanks to Alice Canerday & Kathie Anastas, two outstanding & highly dedicated ladies ~ the Dream Team’s leaders over the past few years.  We will sorely miss you both.  Please read Jennifer’s note below.

Best personal regards, Charlie
