TEAM MANAGER

Bob Hough

Bob Hough has 13 years of baseball coaching experience within Loudoun County Virginia. He has taught a variety of age groups within Little League and travel baseball programs. His teams have collected Little League and AAU Virginia State championships along with multiple tournament titles.  He played college baseball at Penn State – Shenango Valley Campus where he obtained All Conference Honors as an outfielder.  He then continued his baseball career by walking on to the Penn State Main Campus team after transferring. He is an alumni of American Legion baseball as a player and is managing his 1st season with the Ashburn Knights.

Steve Davis

Steve Davis played baseball for Gonzaga College High School in Washington DC from 1992-1995.  He went on to play college baseball at the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA.  For the past 13 years, he has coached youth baseball at the little league, all-star, and travel level throughout the Washington metro area.  This is his second season coaching the Ashburn Knights.


ASSISTANT COACH (PITCHING)

Jeff Newell

Jeff Newell has 12 years of coaching experience in Loudoun County baseball.  His teams have won Virginia State Championships in Little League All-Stars and AAU travel baseball, and numerous tournament titles.  7 of Jeff’s former travel players have gone on to play Division I college athletics, and 7+ more have played college baseball at the Division II or Division III level.  This is his 1st season coaching the Ashburn Knights.  Jeff’s son Zach, who played and coached at Freedom HS and has played at the College of William and Mary, is an Ashburn Knights alumnus.


GENERAL MANAGER

Jim Linn

Jim Linn is a Vietnam Veteran and a retired LTC in the US Army Reserve.  He is the American Legion Post 2001 Baseball Committee Chair.  During the 1960’s, Jim played Varsity Baseball for Overlea Senior High School, Baltimore County, Maryland.  Over the years, Jim has coached in various youth sports programs.  Jim believes in our youth today and in promoting Americanism and good citizenship.
