Veteran support organizations plan ‘Military-Friendly Job Fair’
The Leesburg-based Loudoun County Community Veterans Engagement Board has partnered with military employment website Corporate Gray to organize a “Military-Friendly Job Fair,” which will take place virtually April 23.
Transitioning armed-services members, veterans, their dependents and civilians are welcome to attend, according to CVEB officials.
Founded in 1994, Corporate Gray organizes online events to “provide military-experienced job seekers and civilians with the opportunity to interview with dozens of employers via text and video chats,” officials said.
More than 20 employers are scheduled to attend the April 23 fair, including Accenture Federal Services, Eastman Chemical Company, Eaton Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, the National Security Agency, SAIC and the Transportation Security Administration.
The fair is free to attend for job seekers over the age of 18 and will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information or to register for the job fair, visit; corporategray.com/jobfairs/430.
