Post 2001 – Get Out the Vote

/in /by

Legionnaires,

One of the Legion’s programs is to encourage Americans to exercise their right to vote.

No matter your party preference, please take time this November 8 to go and vote.

Between now and then, encourage your friends and neighbors to vote as well.

You have all served America – this is your opportunity to decide where we go next.

“Get out the vote!”

Regards,

Post 2001 – Veterans’ Day Poppy Distribution (4 and 5 November)

/in /by

Legionnaires,

Larry Rosenberger sends:

Every year around Veterans’ Day, the American Legion distributes poppies in remembrance of our fallen comrades-in-arms. If you can join our effort this November, you will be part of this tradition and help remember the sacrifices of our comrades.

Thank you to everyone who has already signed up to support this event.

See the attached a copy of the roster of those who already volunteered for distributing poppies next weekend (4 and 5 November) and also the vacant shifts. Even if you can only work part of a shift, we need your assistance.

Anyone wanting to volunteer can call Larry Rosenberger.
