We welcome active-duty service members, military veterans, families, and the community at large to witness and participate in this momentous celebration honoring two and a half centuries of the Navy’s proud heritage of service, sacrifice, and strength.

Founded on October 13, 1775, the United States Navy has stood as the guardian of freedom on the seas, beginning with the Continental Navy established during the Revolutionary War. From its earliest days of privateer ships challenging the world’s most powerful navy, to today’s unmatched global force for peace and security, the U.S. Navy has been central to protecting our nation and upholding liberty around the world.

Please join us as we recognize this extraordinary milestone and honor the men and women who have worn the Navy uniform across generations.
