Veterans Day program at Hillside

Fellow Legionnaires,

I am forwarding an email we received from Jessica Blood, Music Educator at Hillside Elementary School, inviting us to their Veterans’ Day program on November 11th at 0900 and 1830.

I urge you to put this date on your calendar and try to attend one of these performances if you can.

I assure you that you will not regret it. Those of us who attended last year were treated to a rousing, patriotic show by Ms. Blood and the kids that celebrated both the day and the nation’s veterans.

It will make you proud of the school and these enthusiastic young people, as they show their appreciation.

Last year, a little over twenty of us (including family members) attended the two performances. The evening show was pretty crowded, and I anticipate that the attendance this year will be even higher.

I request that you let us know by November 4th if you plan to attend (include family members), so we can give Ms. Blood an estimate.
