Honor Flight – Top of Virginia
/in Uncategorized/by ashburnlegionThe Honor Flight – Top of Virginia organization is leading an Honor Flight operation on 7 September 2019 to honor Loudoun County Veterans who served in WWII, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
The day’s activities include meals, refreshments and a fully paid trip to Washington D.C., to visit the respective war memorials and to participate in a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington Cemetery. A detailed itinerary can be found here: https://www.honorflight-tov.org/copy-of-mission-8-itinerary
The Honor Flight outfit will also be looking for folks to volunteer from our various Veteran Service Organizations and from within the community at large to act as escorts for these Veteran participants.
