The VDVS Peer Services Director, Jamie Staten, will host a special Veterans Day session on Cabana:

A place to honor those who served and remember those we lost. Veterans Day can bring up a lot at once. Some of those battle buddies are still a phone call away. Others we carry with us in a different way now. In this live group, brothers and sisters in arms can come together to share old memories, honor the fallen, and build new bonds with people who understand the language of service.

There’s no pressure to share more than you want to. Bring a story, a name you want to remember out loud, or just yourself. Whether this day feels like a celebration, a hard anniversary, or a bit of both, you’re welcome here exactly as you are. You don’t have to carry it alone, and on this day especially, you don’t have to stand alone either.
