We have sponsors who said they pre-filed drafts to get bills, which is huge. Now I need cosponsors so we can make these things law, and try to make sure they don’t get held up in committee.
We aim for at least 25 Senators to co-sponsor each bill (particularly veteran data plus Court committee members on the veteran data bill) and at least 55 Delegate support.
The below table lists the JLC initiative, the veteran service organization sponsoring it and the person responsible for it, followed by the name of the Delegate and Senator who has agreed to sponsor it and file a draft by the pre-filing deadline in November 2024.
