SUMMARY:Military Order of the Purple Heart’s IMPACT Leadership Award
DESCRIPTION:This year marks the inauguration of the Military Order of the Purple Heart’s IMPACT Leadership Award\, created specifically to honor military children who exemplify leadership\, resilience\, and service. Out of only seven students statewide selected for this honor\, Kamila Cordero\, a senior at Stone Bridge and the only LCPS recipient\, will be recognized.\n\nKamila’s story is especially moving: her father is being deployed on the same day she receives her award. She will be presented the award by a living Purple Heart recipient during our morning pep rally\, and we’ll continue the celebration that evening at our military-themed football game.\n\nWe would be honored to have you and fellow veterans join us for the evening recognition.
