Sgt Charlie’s Cancer Treatment

Hi all, I want to share with you about Sgt Charlie, who is a certified therapy dog and loves his job. He loves all of the people he meets and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down or retiring any time soon. If you would like to help, please go to our GoFundMe page. We appreciate your help! God Bless!

Unfortunately, he has been diagnosed with mast cell cancer. This will require surgery, diagnostics, lab work, and much more. While we don’t know yet if he will need chemotherapy, radiation, or other more extensive treatment, these are all very possible. Cancer sucks and Charlie is only 7 years old. We realize that bull mastiffs typically do not live into their teens, but he has so much love and compassion to give everyone that he meets at the hospital, the VFW, the American Legion, the nursing homes, the kids at all the schools and community centers he visits.

He loves being a therapy dog. Anyone that has met him in his travels can attest to his intuitive sense for who needs the most attention and love that day. Please help us to offset the extensive costs of cancer surgery and treatment. Thank you.
